Hip dysplasia, femoral retroversion (FR), and acetabular coverage were radiographically assessed in children with CP, using the techniques of Dega and Tonnis and the Tonnis index, respectively. Both hips were assessed in all patients. Sixty-eight children with CP (44 boys, 24 girls) and 40 normal control subjects were examined. The prevalence of HD was 36% (25 of 68) in the CP group and 0% in the control group. No significant differences in FR and acetabular coverage were observed between the CP and control groups.
